A Basic Guide to Maximizing HVAC Efficiency by Using a ...

Last updated 3 hours 45 minutes ago

A programmable thermostat can be one of the best tools you have to improve your home's heating and cooling efficiency. Many traditional thermostats don't offer the option of controlling the temperature when you're not home. In addition to allowing you to set timed controls, a programmable thermostat can also help you zone your home for increased comfort and energy savings.

Using Your New Thermostat

Upgrading to a programmable thermostat is just the first step in improving your home?s efficiency. It is important that you understand how your thermostat works in order to achieve maximum efficiency. Read the manual thoroughly and ask your HVAC specialist any questions you may have during installation. Today's Energy Star-approved thermostats have four different times that can be programmed for temperature changes. These settings are typically called wake, day, evening, and sleep.

You can gain the maximum energy benefit from your thermostat by raising your home?s temperature by about eight degrees from your typical comfort setting during the day and while you sleep. Lowering the temperature by six degrees when you?re not home during the heating season can offer you the same benefits.

Balancing Efficiency and Comfort

Because your thermostat can save you so much energy when you're asleep or not at home, you can enjoy increased comfort when you are active and at home. By using a programmable thermostat to raise the temperature when you're away, you can enjoy temperatures that are more comfortable when you are at home without increasing your energy costs.

The best way to use your thermostat for energy savings is to know how it operates with your specific HVAC system. Parker & Sons, Inc. can help you choose the right thermostat for your system so you can enjoy improved energy efficiency without sacrificing any comfort. Apple event on Oct. 23 may include 'iPad Mini'

19 hrs.

As expected, Apple will hold a press event on Oct. 23.?"We've got a little more to show you," the Cupertino-based company's press?invitation declares, hinting that the rumored "iPad Mini" may be unveiled.

The event will be held at 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday,?Oct. 23 in San Jose, Calif., and we will naturally report all the details live.

Odds are high that Apple's presentation will indeed focus on a smaller iPad?? which has been dubbed the iPad Mini.?While we knew a great deal about the iPhone 5 before it was officially announced, very few of the rumors surrounding the iPad Mini seem solid.?We anticipate that the device will have a 7.85-inch display which will not be a high-resolution "Retina" display like the one found in the iPhone 5 or third-generation iPad.?It's basically a given that the new tablet will use a Lightning connector, just like the iPhone 5 and the latest iPods, rather than the older 30-pin connector design found on current iPad models.?Additionally, it has been suggested that the smaller iPad will look a lot like a large iPod Touch, with a somewhat smaller bezel.

We'll have to wait until next Tuesday to see how these guesses and rumors work out though. Until then, we'll just have to keep daydreaming and speculating?? particularly about the new tablet's price.?As NBC News tech/sci editor Wilson Rothman pointed out during a discussion of Apple rumors, odds are high that the iPad Mini will be priced at $299. But at that point, there wouldn't be many gasps from the audience. Now a $249 price tag on the other hand, that'd be a whole 'nother story.

After all, the new iPod Touch has a starting price of $299, a significant sum for a pocket-sized?media player, even though it has a gorgeous aluminum body, a Retina display, and some pretty solid guts.

"Now, think of this mini iPad, or iPad Mini, or whatever," Rothman suggests. "Take the basic guts of the iPod Touch, shave the 32GB of storage down to 16GB, and put in a lower-resolution 7.9-inch display instead of a gorgeous 4-inch Retina display, while you're at it."

Perhaps these changes could bring production costs down far enough for Apple to charge $249 rather than $299 for the new iPad.?

"I think that $249 is the 'all other tablets are dead' price, and $299 is the 'Apple keeps its market share while making a comfortable profit' price. Anywhere over $300 is a "not good" price," Rothman concludes. "Not in today's market, not with a full-sized iPad 2 selling for $400 and a Retina-display iPad selling for $500."

Lakoff: What Obama Needs to Do in Tomorrow's Debate | Alternet

?

As Nate Silver, NY Times polling expert put it, ?Instant polls conducted after the debate are suggestive of something between a tie and a modest win for Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.?

Biden held his own and maybe a bit more. That was important. But President Obama has to do a lot better than that. He has to go beyond the policy wonk to be a moral leader once more. Here?s how Jennifer Granholm put it on her Current TV show? video.

On the whole, the public and especially the undecided voters don?t keep track of policy details and which numbers are right. The worst thing the president can do is to just compare details of policy. That just elevates Romney to the status of an equal, who can come back with lies that will sound just as good if not better to most of the undecideds.

The tv debates are not primarily about policy details and the numbers in themselves. As? Ronald Reagan showed , the debates are about choosing a moral leader. And we do this through a performance.

Reagan didn?t debate policy details and numbers. Instead he did the following:

  • Stated?his?values.
  • Connected with the viewers by?projecting?empathy.
  • Communicated?clearly.
  • Appeared authentic,?appeared?to be saying what he believed.
  • Was positive and upbeat.

Those are the basic rules of the performances called presidential debates. The content that goes with the performance is to show that you will be a moral leader. Policy discussions and facts can flesh that out, but those are the ground rules.

Romney was prepped the Reagan way ? to project the necessary appearance for this performance.? The President was not. President Obama needs to follow the ground rules, especially because he IS authentic, he DOES have the right values, he DOES have empathy.

Moreover, those moral values are really what this election is about. The president sees democracy as based on citizens caring about each other and using a government as an instrument of that care, protecting and empowering us all, equally, through public provisions. America started out with building roads, bridges, public schools, a national bank, a patent office, public records, etc. We now have many more citizen provisions ? clean air, clean water, safe food and drugs, sewers, policing, disease control, a federal reserve, basic scientific research, college loans. Now we need, and have, more that is provided for all. Think of a cell phone. It couldn?t exist without what citizens have provided via the government: the computer science research, the internet, the satellite system, the PDF system. Once you have all these things, you have certain basic freedoms ? you can live well and maybe start a business, or work for one, on the basis of what your fellow citizens have given you. The issue here is freedom, the real material freedom that other Americans have provided us with. You can only build it starting from what other Americans have built for you.

When the president made his ?You didn?t built that??gaffe, he was intimidated out of talking about this truth. But this is the central truth of this campaign. Citizens built all the mechanisms for each of us to access. If you worked hard to build a business, you used all that to start with. The president needs to go back to that deep truth and say it right this time. You, our citizens, have provided all this not just to yourselves but to every American. That?s what makes America America.

You, the citizens, use our common government to make this country what it is.

Sept. 11 trial rules under scrutiny at Guantanamo

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) ? A U.S. military judge is considering broad security rules for the war crimes tribunal of five Guantanamo prisoners charged in the Sept. 11 attacks, including measures to prevent the accused from publicly revealing what happened to them in the CIA's secret network of overseas prisons.

Prosecutors have asked the judge at a pretrial hearing starting Monday to approve what is known as a protective order that is intended to prevent the release of classified information during the eventual trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who has portrayed himself as the mastermind of the terror attacks, and four co-defendants.

Lawyers for the defendants say the rules, as proposed, will hobble their defense. The American Civil Liberties Union, which has filed a challenge to the protective order, says the restrictions will prevent the public from learning what happened to Mohammed and his co-defendants during several years of CIA confinement and interrogation.

The protective order requires the court to use a 40-second delay during court proceedings so that spectators, who watch behind sound-proof glass, can be prevented from hearing ? from officials, lawyers or the defendants themselves ? the still-classified details of the CIA's rendition and detention program.

"What we are challenging is the censorship of the defendant's testimony based on their personal knowledge of the government's torture and detention of them," said Hina Shamsi, an ACLU attorney who will be arguing against the protective order during the pretrial hearing at the U.S. base in Cuba.

The protective order, which is also being challenged by a coalition of media organizations that includes The Associated Press, is overly broad because it would "classify the defendants own knowledge, thoughts and experience," Shamsi said in an interview.

"It's a truly extraordinary and chilling proposal that the government is asking the court to accept," she said.

Protective orders are standard method in civilian and military trials to set rules for handling evidence for the prosecution and defense. Military prosecutors argue in court papers that the Sept. 11 trial requires additional security because the accused have personal knowledge of classified information such as interrogation techniques and knowledge about which other countries provided assistance in their capture.

"Each of the accused is in the unique position of having had access to classified intelligence sources and methods," the prosecution says in court papers. "The government, like the defense, must protect that classified information from disclosure."

Army Brig. Gen. Mark Martins, the chief prosecutor for the military commissions, said Sunday that the security precautions are necessary to prevent the release information that could harm U.S. intelligence operations or personnel around the world, and not to prevent embarrassing the government or to cover-up wrongdoing.

"Our government's sources and methods are not an open book," Martins said.

The U.S. government has acknowledged that before the defendants were taken to Guantanamo in September 2006 they were subjected to "enhanced interrogation techniques" such as the simulated drowning method known as water-boarding. Defense attorneys say the treatment will be used to form the basis of their defense but the proposed protective order limits their ability to make that case in court and in public advocacy on behalf of their clients.

"It's a way in which the government can hide what it did to these men during the period of detention by the CIA," said Army Capt. Jason Wright, a Pentagon-appointed attorney for Mohammed. "I think we need to bring the truth to the light of day on these issues."

The judge's approval of the protective order, which may not happen this week, must occur before the Sept. 11 case can move forward. Defense lawyers cannot begin to review classified evidence against their clients until it is in place.

The protective order is the most contentious of about two dozen preliminary motions scheduled to be heard during a pretrial hearing expected to run through Friday. Other matters include whether the defendants can be required to attend court sessions, what clothing they are allowed to wear and defense requests for additional resources for what is considered one of the most significant terrorism prosecutions in U.S. history.

The families of people killed in the Sept. 11 attacks have been invited to military installations in the U.S. states of New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland and New York City to watch the pretrial hearings, which are closed to the general public. An earlier round of hearings in May was also transmitted to viewing locations for relatives of the victims, survivors of the attacks, and emergency personnel who responded to the disaster.

Mohammed and his four co-defendants are being prosecuted in a special military tribunal for war-time offenses known as a military commission. They were arraigned May 5 on charges that include terrorism, conspiracy and 2,976 counts of murder in violation of the law of war, one count for each known victim of the Sept. 11 attacks at the time the charges were filed. They could get the death penalty if convicted.

Mohammed, a Pakistani citizen who grew up in Kuwait and attended college in North Carolina, has told military officials that he planned the Sept. 11 attacks "from A to Z" and was involved in about 30 other terrorist plots. He has said, among other things, that he personally beheaded Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. The other defendants are Ramzi Binalshibh; Walid bin Attash; Mustafa Ahmad al-Hawsawi; and Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali.

Their arraignment was an unruly, 13-hour proceeding in which the defendants stalled proceedings by refusing the use the court translation system and ignoring the judge. Subsequent hearings to handle pretrial motions were postponed because of scheduling conflicts, the Muslim holy period of Ramadan and Tropical Storm Isaac. Several more pretrial hearings must be held to litigate hundreds of motions before the start of the trial, which is likely at least a year away.

Everybody expects this, as campaign surrogates from both camps emphasized Sunday on the TV news shows.

"He knew when he walked off that stage [of the first debate], and he also knew as he watched the tape of that debate, that he has to be more energetic," Robert Gibbs, an Obama campaign adviser and former White House press secretary,?said on CNN's "State of the Union.?

On "Fox News Sunday," campaign adviser David Axelrod said Obama would be "aggressive in making the case for his view of where we should go as a country."

Republicans agree, adding their own negative twist.

"I think President Obama is going to come out swinging," Sen. Rob Portman, who?s playing Obama in Romney's debate rehearsals, said on ABC's "This Week." "He's going to compensate for a poor first debate. And I think that will be consistent with what they've been doing this whole campaign, which is running a highly negative ad campaign.?

?They've spent hundreds of millions around the country, including a lot in Ohio, mischaracterizing Gov. Romney's positions and misrepresenting him,? Sen. Portman said. ?I think you'll see that again on Tuesday night.?

"The president can change his style. He can change his tactics. He can't change his record. He can't change his policies,? Romney advisor Ed Gillespie said on CNN. ?That's what this election is about.?

Vice President Joe Biden set the scene in his debate last week with Rep. Paul Ryan, Romney?s running mate.

Five times, Biden mentioned Romney?s now-infamous comment about the ?47 percent? of Americans ?who are dependent upon government, who believe they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.?

Romney now acknowledges that his ?47 percent? comment to a group of wealthy donors (who presumable felt the same way) was ?just completely wrong,? and he stresses that ?when I become president it will be about helping the 100 percent,? as he told Sean Hannity on Fox News.

But you can be sure that in their town hall-style debate Tuesday night, Obama will find ways to needle Romney on the ?47 percent.?

It?s part of a pattern in the race as both sides try to embrace the middle class, especially those American families struggling in tough economic times.

Romney no longer tries to portray his early married life as a time of basement rental apartments and tuna casseroles, as he and Ann Romney did during the Republican National Convention. But he?s now telling more personal stories about the families he?s met along the campaign trail, working to demonstrate his understanding and compassion.

He may be a millionaire now ? although not in the same class as quarter-billionaire Romney ? but Obama does have his own middle class background (and that of his wife) to refer to. He?s got Joe Biden?s outspokenness?and the Vice President?s working class upbringing in Scranton, Penn., to illustrate the Democratic ticket?s role as champion of working Americans.?

And he?s got Bruce Springsteen ? rock-and-roll troubadour to a generation of fans (and voters) who idealize and celebrate the struggle of the underclass. Two nights after Tuesday?s debate, Mr. Springsteen will perform at an Obama rally in the key state of Ohio.

Meanwhile, polls show a race tightening to near-toss up status.

The RealClearPolitics polling average had Romney ahead by a scant 1.3 percentage points Sunday afternoon. Battleground state polls show a mixed picture. Gravis Marketing, a non-partisan research firm, reported Sunday that Obama has regained his lead in Colorado ? not as high as the 4.7-point margin he had before the last debate but 2.6 points today.

Analysis: Biden rekindles controversy over administration's Libya statements

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration's latest verbal bungle over the chain of events leading to the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya, rekindled the controversy over the incident on Friday and offered new ammunition to Republican opponents.

In Thursday night's vice presidential debate, Vice President Joe Biden insisted that "we weren't told they wanted more security" at the ill-fated U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, where U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens died.

Biden's statement, at least on the surface, appeared to contradict congressional testimony less than 48 hours earlier from State Department officials, and offered a fresh opening for Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney, who has repeatedly sought to attack the White House over the issue.

It was the latest example of a White House, which has long prided itself on "message discipline," flubbing its own message on the Libya attacks. President Barack Obama and his aides have struggled to explain why they first described the violence as growing out of protests over an anti-Muslim movie, only later to acknowledge it was an organized attack by militants.

In a written commentary the day before Biden spoke, prominent national security analyst Anthony Cordesman said the administration had "fumbled the situation by going into a state of confused denial" about Libya. The administration should also have made a stronger case for establishing on-the-scene diplomacy in a volatile environment such as post-Gaddafi Libya, he wrote.

Cordesman also said the Republicans had turned the Benghazi events into a "gotcha" contest where the president is somehow blamed for "largely local security decisions."

The White House was quick to defend Biden on Friday, saying he had been speaking only for himself and Obama - in other words, not for anyone else in the administration who might have heard about the dangers facing Americans in Libya's relatively lawless second city before Stevens and three other Americans were killed on the night of September 11.

Romney went back on the offensive on Friday, saying Biden had contradicted the sworn testimony of State Department officials. "He's doubling down on denial," Romney charged.

    REPUBLICAN CRITICISM FIRST TARGETED RICE

Biden's "we did not know" comment fed into Republican criticism that the administration had been less than truthful about a violent assault on U.S. interests during an election year in which Obama previously seemed to have the upper hand in foreign policy.

"We weren't told they wanted more security. ... We did not know they wanted more security" in Benghazi, Biden said in the debate with Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan.

Until now, the Republicans had focused much of their fire about Libya on U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice.

Rice, speaking from talking points prepared by U.S. intelligence agencies, suggested a few days after the Benghazi events that the violence appeared to have been sparked by protests over the anti-Muslim video.

Bob Corker, a senior Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said on Friday the administration had to have known right away that the assault on the mission was carried out by militants and was not triggered by a protest.

"Within 24 hours of the incident the administration knew that this was an orchestrated terrorist attack, and they clearly were aware of the specific details, including requests for additional security, that have finally been made public this week," Corker said in a statement.

"With the vice president continuing this ruse with his comments last night, all Americans should ask what the administration is trying to hide," he added.

At the congressional hearing on Wednesday, two U.S. security officers described their frustration that their requests for more security resources in Libya were ignored in the weeks and months before the assault on the Benghazi mission.

An official from the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security acknowledged at the hearing that she had turned aside pleas for more security.

"I said personally I would not support it," the official, Charlene Lamb, said when asked about one particular request to extend deployment of a 16-person U.S. military team that left Libya in August, a month before the bloodshed in Benghazi.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Friday that Biden had been "speaking directly for himself and the president" with his comments about diplomatic security, not for the State Department, where Carney said such issues were "appropriately" handled.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also tried to smooth over the controversy, saying the administration was dealing with the best available information as it came in about the events in Benghazi.

"To this day - to this day - we do not have a complete picture. We do not have all the answers. No one in this administration has ever claimed otherwise," Clinton said at an appearance with visiting Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi.

Cordesman, the analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said he did not believe Biden misspoke. He said the top echelons of an administration did not know all details of security requests that came in from "lots of crisis countries."

"This is the vice president of the United States, and you are talking about a security chain coming from one embassy, one consulate structure, in a highly unstable country," Cordesman, a former intelligence expert at the Pentagon, said in a telephone interview.

Helpful Tips For Improving Your Personal Development - ProjectPB ...

Many people will be able to help you discover things about yourself. Among the people who can provide you with feedback on your thoughts and feelings are friends, family members, professionals, and former teachers.

Make sure you treat all people with respect, no matter who they are, how powerful they are or what benefits you can obtain from them. The way you deal with people speaks volumes about your character.

TIP! Surround yourself with like-minded people. This helps strengthen your resolve, reinforces positive thinking and keeps you away from toxic people that harm your dreams and goals.

Succeed at everything you set your mind to. That passion of yours can put you on the road to success. No one can be perfect at everything, but we all aspire to provide inspiration to others. Do the best you can at what you do, and bask in the pride it will bring you.

Humility is a key factor in self improvement. Understanding that you are a minute portion of the world will help you think about your level of knowledge. Once this idea gets instilled in your mind, you will want to know, understand and learn new things, therefore, improving yourself.

As you ascertain your needs and how you will approach them, there is one thing that must be done. You must actively engage in life rather than sitting on the sidelines. Being a passive observer to the world around you removes you from the game entirely. Do not let that happen.

TIP! As long as you put in the work to earn the degree and have the skills to do the job, most employers do not care what name is at the top of your diploma. Only the most prestigious of positions look at where you went to school.

Stay organized and keep up with how you are doing. If you break your goals down to their smallest components, you will find that it is easier to achieve smaller tasks quickly. You can watch your progress through daily planners, or, you can devote a whole journal specifically focused on your self improvement targets.

Exercise is for all people, not just someone looking to lose weight. There are so many different physical and emotional reasons to exercise. Not only does it keep your body in good shape, but it also causes your body to release chemicals that will increase your happiness levels.

There is no way to make everyone in your life happy, so it is best to focus on first pleasing yourself. While you shouldn?t make pursuing happiness the be all and end all in your life, it is important to remember that you must make your own happiness. Being sure to stay true to yourself can really enhance your path to personal development.

TIP! Stress can greatly interfere with your mood. When we are feeling stressed, our minds aren?t just affected.

Perhaps stress is keeping you from feeling happy. When the human mind is preoccupied with a state of stress, damage can be caused to both physical and mental aspects of the body. To be able to think clearly, it is important to eliminate stress. Make time in your schedule each day to take a few minutes alone and clear your mind. Having a time to refresh can give you peace and improve your self-image.

Do not fret! Creating worries is what happens when you expect the worst to happen, before anything has happened. Rather than worrying, think about the worst thing that could happen and make a plan that you can put into motion if that occurs. By doing, this you will feel ready to deal with whatever the situation throws at you, so you will no longer have to worry.

Failing at accomplishing something that was important for you can be hard for your ego. However, failure should be a way that you can learn. Failure helps you learn about weaknesses and strengths. In some ways, failure is an accomplishment, because it shows you have tried and persevered, and learned valuable things.

TIP! Make the most of your work time to accomplish more. To do this, you need to increase the amount of breaks each day.

Take advantage of the time you spend working, and get as much finished as possible. One thing that you should do is to take frequent breaks from your tasks. It can seem like the opposite would be true, but taking mini breaks frequently will allow you to feel less bored, and get more done during the times you are working.

Compliment other people. Instead, show kindness and compassion for others and you will see how much better you will feel about yourself.

Read several highly-rated books on personal development. The best personal development books can give you new ideas and advice that could change your life forever. Pay attention to reviews when you pick a self-help book. The genre has some poorly-written books in it; however, you want one that has proven useful to other readers.

TIP! Instead of bragging about achievements, you should ask others about theirs. You?ll be able to find out about the wonderful things the people you know have accomplished, bringing about a new-found respect and admiration for them.

Your mental health can be directly influenced by the physical heath of your body. Exercise on a regular basis, and eat a healthy diet filled with nutritious foods. Remember, a healthy mind and a healthy body go hand in hand.

Live according to your principles. Your personality is strongly shaped and supported by these principles. If you have this rooted in a good foundation, your self-esteem will benefit greatly due to this. If you do this you will encourage you to be consistent, it is an great trait to have.

One of the most basic requirements for your effective personal development is to willingly choose to change who you are. You must choose change and learn how to accept it without reservation.

When you are handling depression stay focused on the things you eat and eat more complex carbohydrates. Without adequate complex carbohydrates, your body may burn too quickly through serotonin. You can do this by eating more raw veggies, fruits, nuts, brown rice, whole grains and assorted beans.

I ran a 2.8?kilometers?and this was over good and i scored a very good. I was proud of my self because i wasn?t sure if i was going to score a very good but at the end i had?enough?energy to push it for a last lap and i got 2800m. This test did have an?advantage?if you had some one you could pase your self with but if you didn?t it would of been harder.

    Fitness Test

In one of the lesson we tested out different fitness?tests?that analysed a different part of our fitness.

The first exercises?was how many?push ups and sit ups you could do in one minute. Both of them was using muscular endurance and the goal was to do as many as you could in one?minute?. I did ?57?sit ups?and 53 push ups. Although people came and?interrupted and tried to talk to me but I ignored and i got a?resolute?that i was proud of.

Next test was the vertical??jump height which tested our muscular strength this was my?favorite?because I just love jumping. The proses was easy we needed to put our foot on the wall and?stretch?your arm as far as you could. Then we bent down and jumped as high as we could and touched the metering tape. I repeated this 3 times and got a best jump height of 59 I was happy with this and I will?remember?this until it is track season where i do high jump and then after that i want to see how much i improve.

The next test I did was the body mass index test. This test works out?whether?you are under or over weight by taking you height and?weight. I got a18.9 ?I think i am kind of light for my hight but this doesn?t bother me because i want to use this as an?advantage?in my sports.

The next one was a ?flexibility?test to test our?flexibility. This?measured?how far you could?stretch?your arms forwards and push the slider on a box. I got a?result?of 44 and i like this?resolute?because I am a guy and it was more than most girls and the?average?was around 20.

The last test was?the number of burpees you could do in one minute. This is?designed?to test cardio-vascular?endurance,?agility and coordination. A burpees are when you start in a standing then drop down to the push up position and then back up to standing and you do that for one minute. I got a?resolute 46 in one minute.

Level ?8/9/10 My Cardio Vascular Endurance is strong
I run very often and do not get tired.
I am very motivated to do CV fitness during the week at least 4 times.
I feel very strong in my chosen sports from a CV perspective.
I feel great after I run
I think I would score very highly on a CV endurance test.
My Vo2 max is above 40
Level 6/7 My CV endurance is good. I run regularly outside of school.
I am usually motivated to run and feel good afterwards.
When it starts to hurt, I dig in deep and find that extra stamina to keep going.
My Vo2 max is above 30
Level 4/5 My CV endurance could be better. I can run for a small distance without getting tired but then want to stop. Maybe my motivation drops or my heart hurts and I get out of breath.
I don?t really do much for my CV endurance fitness outside of school.
My Vo2 max is above 20
Level 1/2/3 My CV endurance is not very good. I get out of breath easily. My heart hurts, my head hurts and I get dizzy. My body struggles to cope with the demands placed upon me.
I feel very bad after doing CV endurance exercise.
My Vo2 max is below 20
MY OWN Level8 I think i would be around an eight. why? this it because I run around 7k when i have practice on?running?and i like running ?and do it often and normally at the end i can find that last sprint energy and can beat people infront of me.

    self analysis

I think that i have a high level of fitness?especially?in cardiovascular?endurance,?cardiovascular ?strength?and?muscular?strength. I was?surprised?that i was flexible and I checked the?average?in the sit and stretch test that i was in the?excellent group so i was happy about that because i thought i was just going to be in the?average?group. However?most of the sports that I?play?do not need a high level of?flexibility.?I scored a high score in the cooper test and?I achieving?the top score and looking at the vo2 max criteria table. I like sports and this is why i keep doing sports that is a good thing and this keeps me fit. For some sports i do alone like running it can be boring some times but the magic of music makes me so motivated ?that i think i can run forever unless i sprint to get somewhere. I always want to do my best and push whatever is in me and?squeeze all my energy out in the sports ground whatever it is I want to beat my older self and push my self.

    Smart Goals

    ?

For me it some times its hard to make goals out this is because i make them too hard or i make them to easy.

My first goal is do sports when i have time and when i dont have home work since after the cross?country season im not doing any sports so i want to do sports when I can.

My second goal is to be able get my?spiriting?time for my 100 and 200 meters higher than last year this is because i didn?t have any practice for sprits what so ever.

My last goal is if I can i should go to the?gym when i can.
